Nanjing Innovation and Technology Receives Large Global Investment

Leaders from over 20 prestigious investment firms like Hony Capital, Hong Shan, Shenzhen Capital Group and Qiming Venture Partners participated in the grand opening ceremony of The Nanjing Venture Capital and Private Equity Center in Nanjing City, China.

The Nanjing VC/PE Center created a multi-billion dollar investment fund to support innovative, exciting new projects. This center will make Nanjing increasingly competitive with neighboring cities Shanghai and Shenzhen, as a center of China's booming hi-tech and innovation-based business.

Nanjing Establishes Large Fund for Business Start-up

The Nanjing City government working together with a consortium of investment banks has created a special city fund for business start-up and development. The city government, working together with the Nanjing financial institutes, investment banks, commercial banks and private funds has established a RMB200 million Yuan fund aimed at assisting start-up companies with innovative new concepts, technology or research develop in Nanjing.
